lazy boys don't stand a chance

I saw The Thief of Bagdad (1924) last night at Secret Cinema, which remains one of my favorite things about Philadelphia, even after ten years.  It was a beautiful movie, one I’ll probably never have the chance to see projected from film again, and the location was also perfect: Harrison Auditorium in the Penn Museum, where I saw The Magnetic Fields and Yo La Tengo in 1999.
